JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an original film. Instead, the recent cinematic release from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the series' second installment stitched together with the opening installments of its upcoming season, which kicks off the Culling Games storyline from the source material. This positions Execution, which just got a new trailer, the first way to see the beginning of the forthcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The feature launches in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Game arc, Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu finally joins the show and is tasked by sorcery authorities to eliminate his classmate Yuji Itadori. Their long-awaited clash unfolds for the first time on the silver screen, and if the animators at the studio have an exceptional piece as installments 40 and 41 in store for viewers this holiday season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may prove to be the present that fans have anticipated.
